Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that results in rich patterns from indigo color. Traditional prints include: arashi, kumo, itajime, and ne-maki.
Class 1: Everyone will Shibori-dye their own tote bag and learn about the history and culture of Shibori dying.
Class 2: Everyone will paint designs on their tote bag using acrylic paints. We’ll use stencils or open paint.
