L.A.T E. Night Thursday: Healing Arts: Aboriginal Dot Painting (All Ages)

  • Hickory Art Museum 243 3rd Ave NE Hickory United States (map)

Join us for this FREE event of Aboriginal Dot Painting to go along with our Folk Art Gallery on the 3rd floor. This is a free event but we always welcome donations. Drop in anytime between 5:30 and 7 and visit Elaine in our library on the 2nd floor to experience and create your own artwork by using acrylic paint and various sizes of dowels to make dots.

Hickory Museum of Art is presenting new opportunities to experience art through Healing Arts. Creating and making art calms our minds refreshes the spirit, clears away our worries, and promotes hope and healing.

Healing Arts is debuting in October on designated L.A.T.E. Night Thursdays at HMA with an art activity for all levels. Create your own artwork inspired by art exhibited in the Museum of Art. Discover how focusing on art transforms discomfort to comfort, chaos to calm, negative to positive, and so much more. The Healing Arts table will be set up so that you can participate any time between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. Join Elaine Heinl this fall at the Healing Arts table and discover the healing power of art. We look forward to seeing you at HMA for Healing Arts!
