3-Day Printmaking Workshop with Emily Drew Mash (Session 2)

Immerse yourself in the art of printmaking and master its fundamental techniques. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to create mono prints and linoleum cut prints. Students will delve into the process of operating a Takach etching press, and exploring the tactile nature of creating printed pieces. Additionally, an engaging demonstration will showcase various image-making techniques that utilize the press, allowing you to expand your creative repertoire in this traditional art form.

 About Emily

I’m Emily Drew Mash. I am an artist, designer, teacher living in the foothills of NC. My formal education is in fine art with a specialty in intaglio printmaking from Wake Forest University.  I have worked in various forms of printmaking including intaglio, lithography, monotype, linocut, and woodcut. My prints have been on display in both solo and group shows. My work is part of the permanent collection of Wake Forest University and private collections around the world. I have been sharing my love for printmaking with fellow artists as an instructor since 2016.
