Glass Sun Catchers (Teens & Adults)

  • Hickory Museum of Art 243 3rd Ave NE Hickory United States (map)

$50; $35 Members
+$10 Materials Fee

In this class, we will be using a variety of glasses to create a large, 6” x 6” sun catcher. There is some simple glass cutting, but this is a perfect project to practice on and we all know that practice makes perfect. You will learn about a variety of glasses that can be used in the creation of your own design and tips on the composition and arrangement of glass elements. Your final artwork will look good in front of a window or can be hung outside. Extra time is allowed for artistic expression but you may finish in 2 hours. Pieces will be picked up at a later time. Instructor: Diane Enger
