HURRICANE HELENE UPDATE: Autolawn will be held as originally scheduled.
Thankfully the SALT Block is back up and running and we can still hold our fundraiser this coming weekend. We certainly understand that some will have challenges getting here. Hopefully, things will open up even more by Saturday so all communities have the opportunity to enjoy the car show.
Congratulations to this year's award winners!

About The Autolawn
The Autolawn Party is an exciting, community event scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2024, on the SALT Block North Lawn from 10 AM - 3 PM. The event is open to the public, and there is no charge for spectators, who can also vote for their favorite classic car. The celebration is centered around a European classic car show for the automotive enthusiast, but it’s far more than that. There’s something fun for everyone! The festivities include:
Car Show | Live Music | Food Trucks | Beer Garden | Merch for Sale
Awards Ceremony | Art Exhibitions | Kid’s Art Activities
The Autolawn Party is an outdoor celebration of the road’s number one traveler – the automobile. Autolawn is unique in its size and scale having no more than 85 entrants. The intention is to provide a wide range of high-quality, original vehicles in an intimate yet informal setting, without the pressure of traditional concourse events.
In celebration of HMA’s 80th Anniversary, this year’s theme, “Totally 80’s”, will spotlight vehicles from the 1980’s, although all Euro makes, models, and years are welcome to register!
For more details about The Autolawn Party, contact Danielle Cannon, Hickory Museum of Art Director of Donor Relations at (828) 327-8576, ext 205, or dcannon@hickoryart.org.
Proceeds from the day’s events benefit the Museum’s educational programming. Autolawn is a rain-or-shine event.
