Hickory Museum of Art is excited to announce its 10th Annual Autolawn Party will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023. The Autolawn Party is an outdoor celebration of the road’s number one traveler – the automobile.
The celebration is centered around a European classic car show for the automotive enthusiast, but it’s far more than that. There’s something fun for everyone. Events include the car show, food, children’s activities, music, a beer garden, merchandise for sale, and awards ceremonies. The event is open to the public, and there's no charge for spectators, who can also vote for their favorite classic car.
The Autolawn European Classic Car Show is unique in its size and scale having no more than 80 entrants. The intention is to provide a wide range of high-quality, original vehicles in an intimate yet informal setting, without the pressure of traditional Concourse events. Awards will be given in a small number of peer-judged classifications and select categories.
Each year, this event highlights a different region or brand. This year's featured brand aims to honor the very first car show we organized, which showcased the brilliance of Porsche's craftsmanship. From the legendary 356, which served as a foundation for their success, to the cutting-edge innovations found in the latest 911 models, visitors will be enchanted by the journey through time and the progress achieved.
