Come paint a basketball that will then be on exhibition in HMA’s Objects Gallery as part of our Michael C. Thorpe: No Expectations exhibition. After the exhibit you can pick up the basketball to take home to keep!

Hickory Museum of Art & Twisted Covenant MSC are hosting their 2nd Annual Poker Run benefitting the Children’s Advocacy & Protection Center.
10 AM Registration | Poker Run | SALT Block Lawn
All motorcycles and cars are welcome. A poker run is an event in which participants visit five checkpoints, drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand (or worst) at the end of the run. Having the best hand and winning is purely a matter of chance. $20 / hand (proceeds benefit Childrens Advocacy & Protection Center). First bikes / cars out at 11 AM.
10:30 AM | Movie + Free Popcorn (#1) in 2nd Floor Drendel Auditorium
Licensing prevents revealing details of the films being shown. But here is a hint: vote for the G.O.A.T. by attending the 10:30 AM movie or the other movie that will be shown at 1:30 PM.
