Spend an evening exploring the stories, secrets, and inside scoop behind in portraits from the museum’s collection with HMA’s Executive Director Jon Carfagno. Featuring the work of Gilbert Stuart, Paul Whitener, Wilford Conrow, and others, the program will take a fun and fascinating look at the people who call Hickory Museum of Art home. At the same time, you’ll have a chance to get to know Jon a little better by sharing his favorite cocktail The Tipsy Turtle in the galleries.

THE TIPSY TURTLE

1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Rum
1 oz. (30ml) Blue Curacao
3 oz. (90ml) Pineapple Juice
1 oz. (30ml) Pina Colada Mix
Garnish: Orange Wheel/Wedge

PREPARATION
1. Add ice to shaking glass and pour over rum, pineapple juice, pina colada mix and blue curacao. Shake well until combine and foamy.
2. Strain mix over ice and garnish with orange.
