The afternoon talk begins in the Museum’s 2nd floor Coe Gallery with a slide presentation by Alvaro Torres. We will then go into the Windows Gallery to view his exhibition, chat with the artist and enjoy refreshments.
Charlotte, North Carolina artist Alvaro Torres creates multi-view paintings where each painting offers three unique views. For example, when approached from the left the viewer will see a landscape and when approached from the right will see a portrait and from the center a hybrid of the two.
