The Value of Membership
Why should you become a member of Hickory Museum Art? Or, if you are already a member, why should you share this gift with others through HMA Gift Memberships? All membership levels receive significant discounts on HMA summer camps, year-round art classes for all ages, children's birthday parties, and special events/programs. Members also receive a subscription to HMA's quarterly newsletter, ArtView, as well as discounts and perks at local (Hickory) membership partner businesses as illustrated below.
Did you realize that with every HMA membership, you also receive reciprocal admission privileges at nearly 200 participating museums across the Southeast, as part of HMA’s participation in the Southeastern Reciprocal Membership Program (SERM)? And not only free admission, but also the same discounts in their on-site gift shops and cafés as those offered to their own members, and the same discounts on purchases made on the premises for concert and lecture tickets? That includes The Mint Museum and Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte, NC; Reynolda House Museum of American Art and Gardens in Winston-Salem, NC; and the Asheville Museum of Art in Asheville, NC.
There are multiple options, as you can see in the membership benefits graphic. And all HMA memberships support the work of the Museum for you. For more information, contact Julie Williams, HMA Membership Coordinator, at 828.327.8576, extension 201.
