Thanks to the L. B. Lane Family Foundation, Hickory Museum of Art has scholarships available for children and adults who can’t afford to take an art class. One student recipient stated, “The reason I want to attend the Facial Facades camp is because it would help me to achieve my future dream of becoming a beautician. I will get the start I need to begin my path into the world of beauty. One day, I may be able to help people who cannot afford expensive make overs. I also hope this would be the beginning of some new friendships.”
