Across the Taedong River from the Great People's Study House, 2012 North Korea.

Opening weekend of THE ART OF ADVENTURE: Photographs and Art from the World Travels of Jeff Cline includes a special event with the artist himself. The museum opens at 6 PM for a reception and exhibition viewing. At 7 PM, we’ll walk over to the Drendel Auditorium (in the same building as the Museum) and be captivated by Jeff’s travel tales, including some sticky situations he’s encountered. Executive Director Jon Carfagno will conduct the interview and there will be time for audience Q&A.

About the Exhibition
A unique look at world cultures presented by Hickory Museum of Art in collaboration with local photographer, businessman, and former Mayor Jeff Cline. A dynamic individual with a passion for art, Jeff has traveled to 121 countries and territories. This exhibition is the first to showcase his keen eye behind the lens, which he honed for many years as a member of the Catawba Valley Camera Club, as well as the objects, artifacts, and art that he collected through a lifetime of travel.
