Alexander County Library and Hickory Museum of Art have partnered to offer perspectives on the lives of women whose courage changed the course of history. Please join us at Atlanta Bread for the Reception honoring HMA's latest Around Town Exhibition , “She Persisted: Coretta Scott King and Women of the Civil Rights Movement.” 

The exhibit includes works by: Amber D. Watts, Cheyenne Chumley, Sarah Johnson, Rebecca Mills, Charlie Frye, Patrick Harris, Lindsay Barrick, Miranda Burgin, Susan Frye, Matthew Bowman, Elisabeth Blocker, Thomas Thielemann, Clayton Joe Young, Victoria Carrico, Diane Podolsky, Hannah Grace, Robbin Isenhour-Stewart, Cindy Sellers, Camille Inman, Melissa Hager, Martha Wike Burgin, and Barbara Bartcher Lackey.
